I didn’t recreate anything myself, just went through the IK presets and found what was closest. I can see if any match to the Reverberate FIR captures of those specific presets, but if there aren’t any factory presets on CSR then it’s probably easier finding the HW values and copying those in (at least to start with).Caine123 wrote: Sat Feb 04, 2023 6:24 pmthis is really impressive! i struggle to re-create the CSR Hall Presets:machinated wrote: Tue Jan 31, 2023 1:42 pm not too different, but also some slightly different behaviours here. no idea if orchestral hall is based off deep blue.
just going through some other presets. lots of them seem based off them, in that there is an inherent similarity but slightly tweaked. It also seems some of the included IK presets go by different names, for instance "Looong Plate" in CSR sounds a LOT like the "Just Plate" from the HW.

were you succesful? i want to replace the IKM Plugin. this would be awesome!
IK CSR - has anyone copied over the original Lexicon PCM90/91 presets?

If/when you do, please post an A/B of Lexicon and CSR. A blind test would be fun.jens wrote: Wed Feb 01, 2023 9:35 am Yes, I basically just need to find the time/energy - I am really curious myself as to how close CSR is to it...
And if you transcribe any of the first 6 presets, you could throw in LX480, if you own it.

Will certainly do!

Neither - nor (at least not the version I have installed (which is super-buggy so I stopped using it (I know this might be fixed in the current version but I much rather waste my time posting crap here at KVR than being a guinea-pig like this))

A polite bump for 2025 - perhaps someone here has a PCM90 or 91 and can share the parameter settings for some presets?

I'm still interested in this project.
One user said on Gearslutz in 2011 that "There are also presets around that emulate lex's verbs for CSR, the result is staggeringly good."
Perhaps we could just track down these presets if someone else already did the work?

Ack! I really need to come around doing this soonish.
Thing is that in the limited time I have outside of bringing up the kids, household stuff and work I always end up writing and producing songs.

I’ve been tempted to rent a unit a few times to do this but haven’t got around to it yet. I’d definitely be keen for these Lexicon presets in CSR though.

Small bump for 2026. I've created spreadsheets and organised the presets by algorithm type, which should make copying the settings over somewhat more tolerable than doing it into CSR directly.
PM me for the spreadsheet.
CSR has (I believe) Concert Hall, Rich Plate, Ambience and Inverse. LX480 should be able to handle much of the Random Hall stuff. I believe the Concert Hall has some additional processing in the HW like a compressor/expand/eq which aren't in the plugin, so any presets using those won't map the same unless those are bypassed.

No, not really. I believe the PCM96 Chamber algorithm is derived from the 960L and is somewhat new compared to the other algorithms.zeep wrote: Tue May 19, 2026 2:22 pm Is it possible to come close to the PCM96 Chamber using the IKM reverbs?
CSR Room is based on the Ambience algorithm, not Room/Chamber as far as I know. The available parameters correspond closer to the Ambience algo at least.

If a bunch of folks get access to the machinated spreadsheet, they could work separately creating the presets for the four CSR algorithms and then share them here.

keep in mind the older CSR Hall sounds different than the newer ones from IK Multimedia. i made a video long time ago which showed it.

I asked Gemini to give me some info about the presets. I wonder how accurate they are?machinated wrote: Tue May 19, 2026 2:30 pmNo, not really.
