I remember trying the behringer vintage synths, and I don't remember it sounding very good, so I'd be surprised if this was different. I did go to check again but the vintage download doesn't work.

Edit: Just reinstalled it to try it out again but it refused to authorize with my license key so it doesn't work and clicking on getting a free license doesn't work either so that one didn't last long.

It is not worth it since you can't get a new license for it or authorize the plugin.

It's not worth it either after i tried to Authorize my license to try it out again and found out that the Authorization doesn't work and the plugin doesn't output any sound unless it is authorized.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Sun May 24, 2026 4:04 pmLooks the same for me but the download doesn't work. I guess he hires talents, not artists.kv331 wrote: Fri May 22, 2026 6:45 amBack in August 2021 I had a meeting with Uli, he was saying that they had 20+ different vsts in development done by different teams around the world…

Hopefully it'll work as an editor/librarian for the hw JT16 when it comes out. So it'll be useful because of course I'll be getting the real JT16, absolutely no question. I never used to see the point of these plugins when I had the real hw, but changed my mind now - things like the Wavestate and Opsix VSTi are very useful indeed, as they're far easier to program in sw. Though that's dubious for something like JT16 where there's likely little or no menu-diving anyway.

Bülent however said there were teams working on 20+ VSTs, which was almost 5 years ago. That is a very long time for nothing to show for.
(That said, had it been an interview and had Bülent been hired, I'm confident that we would have seen formidable results by now...)

I know devs who have taken longer
Maybe they switched focus to hardware, it's obviously an area they do well in.
