I like it. I think the sound quality is quite good when compared to other "pump it up" type plugins like Fuel. And it offers the functions of its ancestor, which a lot of people miss. I sent you an email about a minor bug. When you set the HQ to 4X OS and then close and reopen the plugin, it reverts to an HQ setting of Off. This happens in both AU and VST3. I'm on Mac OS 14.7.2 and Studio Pro 8.0.3

The original really was used on so many big records in EDM, but its useful in all genres. I started using the original on EDM, but ended up finding it super useful on drums and bass in other productions. This reimagined version is better in every way to the original from features to functionality. You can always demo it to see if it works well in your workflowpekbro wrote: Tue May 26, 2026 6:57 pm Interesting, not sure I’m feeling it though.
I never heard of the original myself.
I like the knobs![]()
And thank you on the knobs

Haha, no. But if we do a V2 of Skinny Crusher it will expand the features into some interesting territories!

Might consider reworking that in the future

Thank you, not knocking your voice work, be perfect for tv or the radio. For demos we just want a couple days or so with uninterrupted functionality.
TBH for some demos, it can equate to a non-purchase. That’s not good for anyone. Thanks for understanding.

Haha, totally feel that, and yeah I know you aren't knocking anything, but if you were, my voice would be a good place to start haha. I'll look into perhaps changing to a time trial in the next update. Whats the sweet spot for a time trial in your opinion?

Hmm, well I guess that would depend on how cool of a developer you want folks to believe you are. I would break it down like this:Skinny Audio wrote: Wed May 27, 2026 6:06 am Haha, totally feel that, and yeah I know you aren't knocking anything, but if you were, my voice would be a good place to start haha. 30 Days: "Super Cool Developer"
15 Days: "Pretty Cool Developer"
7 Days: "Obnoxious, but Tolerable Developer"
2 days: "Just Obnoxious"
10 mins: "poop"
2 mins: GTFO
