Keep in mind, if the vst glitches out and crashes your computer that's not a bug, it's just keeping true to the original.

Never heard an original live, but its a very nice sounding VST from playing with the demo.

Any update on the Synapse version? I feel like emulations like this tend to come in groups. Arturia get theirs out then in several weeks, there will be another. And everyone will be like, "but I just got the Arturia version. Weird timing!"

boring for my taste, there are so many yamahas etc. still not done...

Not sure it's even on the cards now, it's def not going be 'several weeks' away.

The demos on Arturia's site also sound great.

That's reassuring at least. Thanks.

If you own V Collection 11 it's only $49. Sounds great. Will probably pick it up.

I'll grab the demo, but right away reading the review they may have screwed up the filter. It is NOT the same as the Minimoog at all, a much more brutal sounding beast. Even without hearing it yet they at least got the Voice Modulation going, which the Cherry version screws up entirely. So far all the emulations are just not cutting it, if they get half as close to the sound of a Memorymoog as they did to the sound of a Matrix 12 I'll be happy though.

Which review?

I like Memory V. I'll have to check where I'm sitting with Arturia stuff, but I'll be getting this one at some point.

They added a 12dB option and a bass compensation to the filter; otherwise, it's a classic ladder filter

How does this stuff work for V collection owners? Is the idea that this will eventually get bundled into V collection 12 for eg? Or does it get added to 11?

It will eventually get bundled with v12, but if you don't own V Collection 11 yet you can buy the collection and get Memory V as an extra bonus.
