With our latest song, we celebrate a constant companion — one
that our parents, and their parents before them, already knew.
Indeed, it has even shaped the entirety of humanity; stories intertwine
around it, and the "months" are named after it. Our newest song is:

Website with animation: "it is the moon"
Note: This requires clicking the grey "play"-button.

All guitars were recorded using microphones. The song is completely
AI-free (which should really go without saying). The overall loudness
is LUFS-I = -9.7 dB (too loud, or just right?). If there is anything you
like — or don't like — feel free to let us know here.

Enjoy!

Love the guitar intro. Let's rock baby! Anyway, vocals remind me of somebody and it's going to drive me crazy trying to figure out who it is. I know it's an 80s band but that's about it. Anyway, great track. Loved it.

I'm with wagtunes, the guitar sounds great, accoustic & distorted. Some interesting vocal treatments throughout. The section with a violin was a pleasant surprise. Nice production values. This was an enjoyable listen.

Love the intro lick—is it a nod to Bad Brains or just coincidence? Very cool track overall, it has just the right amount of dissonance and just the right times. Mix sounds great, very cool bridge, I dig the delay on your vocal…One of my favorites from you.
When the data is corrupt in the Desert of the Real, Beyond the Last Thought, where intuition reigns, is the solace that will embolden and strengthen the soul, giving hope once more to this age of failing technique. eassae.com

Ah yes, the vocals are precisely the element that usually makes a song distinctive. For us, ultimately, it is the interplay of everything — vocals, guitars, bass, drums, and even violin. Thanks, wagtunes!

Always reminds me a bit of Joe Strummer.

Oh, Joe Strummer from The Clash? That’s quite a
comparison — thanks for the honor! I think Joe Strummer
is truly brilliant — an icon of rock music — and he died far
too young.

Thank you, thank you, thank you — this is truly both an honor
and a source of motivation! :)

Wow, that is outstanding! Great arrangement and production with lots of variety to hold interest from start to finish. Sounds great in my headphones. Everything is nice and clear, but still crunchy and aggressive. Does your band perform this live? Are you anywhere near Chicago? We haven’t been out to a club in years, but that would be fun.

Nah, nah — that intro lick was just something I grabbed on
the guitar completely on the fly — bending a string here
and there purely on a whim — and just messing around a
bit until it sounded halfway decent.

It also had to be a bit wild, because the moon, too, was –
at least in its early stages – a wild rock with a lot of
dynamism!

Thank you, eassae! :D

wow that intro!
I kinda thought I had a new Prodigy track, but it turned out much more musically.
the singing is fantastic, reminds me of 1990's peak rock. that awesometime of charlatans how high, jane's addiction been caught stealing, but with modern production. love love love it.
