That’s a really good obituary - none of the ridiculous hyperbole that is applied to anyone these days simply because they passed - just a good, straightforward tribute to the man’s life.

Sonny Rollins was the real deal, a fountain of energy! My first exposure to him was the "G-Man" concert film from New York in the '80s where he jumped off a 6 foot high stone stage, broke his heel, and kept playing lying on his back!
