I like to try to do something different every time. Probably not a recipe for commercial success, but I’m only doing this for fun these days. Playing live was always fun, but I don’t think I could handle the driving and late hours. I played other people’s music in cover bands for decades. My last band was a Fleetwood Mac tribute. Not exactly musically challenging, but we had a small local following, and the gigs were fun. It was more of a social experience.

This iPad stuff is the first time I’ve ever done my own music. I never thought I’d do more than a small handful of songs. The stuff I am doing doesn’t have any commercial potential, but it seems as though I’m getting some acceptance from other musicians. I’m quite satisfied with that.

I haven’t been very active on the forums lately. I had a few distractions recently. Hoping to get busy again. Best wishes!
