Sound Magic has released Neo Guzheng, a new virtual Chinese zither instrument powered by the advanced Qin Hybrid Modeling Engine.

Neo Guzheng combines physical modeling and detailed sampling technology to deliver an expressive and highly responsive guzheng experience with up to 65,536 velocity layers via MIDI 2.0 and virtually unlimited round-robin variation.

Designed specifically for plucked string instruments, the Qin engine allows users to shape tonal response and playing behavior in real time for greater realism and musical expression.
