Not something I have done for a very long time. I would say technically worse, but I would get more inventive at times.

However, overall I think it impaired my ability to play as well as I could, keep time, or follow what others were doing. Sometimes people would record jams, and the majority of the time they were just messy.

Worse. Totally. 100%

in the moment I think I'm better, but I'm actually worse in everything except balls to do creative decisions I wouldn't otherwise make. so whatever I do high, I then redo when sober, but keep the good bits.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

It's a bit like driving - you always think you drive better, more carefully when stoned, and then you can't understand why you woke up in a ditch... :dog:

I'm pretty good at tearing my guitar apart because I can't get any sound out of it. Only to find out later that I had the volume knob turned down.

I always had a crappy time getting high period. Too paranoid that's why I quit getting high.

A buddy of mine tried to tell me I play better when I'm high this was back when I recorded into a cassette deck (not a four track they hadn't come out yet) I'd then force him to listen to our "works" when we were high and share them with other people to shame him and me.

Doesn't really make any difference to me. I don't need weed to suck.

technically worse for sure. micro-timing, hand-to-hand sync, and complex runs go out the window. but it can be useful for breaking out of muscle-memory ruts. sober you relies on what your fingers already know; stoned you forgets the patterns, which occasionally leads to a cool accidental chord change or melody you'd never normally think of.

I have way better ideation when under the influence of canna.

Growing a big Skywalker OG plant in my living room right now for a summer harvest.

I smoked back in early April, and I am still executing all of the ideas and plans I came up with back then.

As far as playing goes, much prefer my bass when high.

I've also embarrassed myself live a few times when too high. :)

no. well, ive always been high when playing, since i was 15 or so. so have no idea what i sound like otherwise.
i couldn't get on a stage without it either, so may as well be high in practice sessions too, don't get caught out when it counts then!! probably.
