I figured they'd be moving their main sale to BF/Christmas when we might see the Komplete reductions. But I wonder if that too will be 30%. A good deal less tempting if so, obvs.

iZotope's sales became massively worse 3 or 4 years ago. Only bought one upgrade from them since.

This is the problem NI have now, decades of '50%' off sales twice a year, I suspect the vast majority of people (including me) will wait for that, its programmed in to us! Either they need to completely change their sales model (complete your bundle type approach) or just drop the 50% off sale now and shift some product!

This is the problem NI have now, decades of '50%' off sales twice a year, I suspect the vast majority of people (including me) will wait for that, its programmed in to us!

Yes - after years of having this sale pounded into our collective brains and expecting it to land without fail - I think it actually hurts NI over the long term since any deviance from our burned in expectations - instantly gets some peoples backs up.

While I totally understood their need to spend the last 15 years or so to "seed" their ecosystem by giving away the farm each year with Komplete - I think the "special" vibe of this sale rings hollow now.

Unless you are brand new - chasing Komplete every year is kinda pointless - unless you actually need (and use) 300 products from NI - every day and in everything you create.

I used to be in a 2-year cadence - but I am leaning toward 3 now. The price vs value proposition of K26 ULT (I would be coming from K15ULT) do not make sense at this time.

Pretty sure I have purchased my last NI Product, at this point every plugin have to be either really special or kinda special and deeply discounted to get me to open my wallet.

NI doesn't seem to offer either at this point with this sale. Maybe the winter black Friday sale will be different in 6 months
