This sounds great! Bought!Paul_Pulsonix wrote: Sun May 31, 2026 12:11 pm Update is live. Took a bit longer than planned but the 909 is in there now. Like the 808 it's fully synthesised, all built from the circuit, no samples. Except the cymbals, since those were samples on the real 909 too.

I'm having trouble with this. I'm right-clicking, choosing MIDI Learn, and sending it MIDI notes, but it's not assigning. This is with 4.0.2. Once we have it configured, can we save the configuration? Also, is there a way to play the Hoover, Vintage DCO, etc. synths across the keyboard?Paul_Pulsonix wrote: Mon Jun 16, 2025 1:31 am MIDI Input Mapping
Just right-click the track name, assign a MIDI note, and you’re ready to trigger it.
Sorry, how do we load them? I tried dragging in multiple samples and only one is getting played.Random Sample Mode
Perfect for realistic acoustic kits. Load multiple sample variations (like soft/loud hits), and it’ll randomly pick one each time — great for humanizing your grooves.
Please provide the ability to arrow up/down to browse.Smart Sample Browsing
Every sample in a folder appears in a dropdown for each track. Browsing kicks and snares is fast and intuitive.

Maybe 606, CR-78, and Simmons?

Sorry it's a bit confusing. to play with midi keyboard you need to go to the mixer tab, put the track to midi in, and select a midi channel. the midilearn was intented to make it easy to use a midi controller, i have to add it for keyboards too.Uncle E wrote: Wed Jun 03, 2026 5:45 amI'm having trouble with this. for the random sample mode, you need put the samples you want to play at random in a folder on your harddrive, load a sample from that folder, then rightclick the trackname, and you'll the random sample/slice mode, that will pick samples at random from that folder.

Thank you. On Mac, I have to select the MIDI channel and trigger several times before it sticks, and the notes will trigger chromatically even when I play a note that is not set as the trigger. Also, the root note for the Nine-O Kick seems to be C0 and the root note for the Nine-O Closed Hat seems to be C4, it would probably be better if the root note is whatever note is set as the trigger. Lastly, it would be good if tracks default to All Channels and consecutive note triggers (C-2, C#-2, D-2, etc.) so that we're not constantly having to set these ourselves.Paul_Pulsonix wrote: Wed Jun 03, 2026 10:33 am Sorry it's a bit confusing. to play with midi keyboard you need to go to the mixer tab, put the track to midi in, and select a midi channel. the midilearn was intented to make it easy to use a midi controller, i have to add it for keyboards too.

That would be cool, mostly it would be good for modulating the synth parameters. That’s pretty cool in other drum synths, tho their sequencers Work different.Paul_Pulsonix wrote: Wed Jun 03, 2026 3:55 am similar to what I have already for pitch shifts ? i could take that and make it work for other paremeters too.

the chromatic playing is because you have keytrack on for that track, if you turn it off on above the virtual keyboard for the selected track it will trigger just the note you set in in the mixertab.Uncle E wrote: Wed Jun 03, 2026 5:03 pmThank you. It's still not working. Turning off keytrack makes it not follow the pitch being played but it's still being triggered by all notes.Paul_Pulsonix wrote: Wed Jun 03, 2026 6:45 pm the chromatic playing is because you have keytrack on for that track, if you turn it off on above the virtual keyboard for the selected track it will trigger just the note you set in in the mixertab.
