Has anyone given Erae Sound a try yet? It looks intriguing.

I've had an Erae 2 for a while now for use primarily with my Eurorack setup. I'd never really considered it as a softsynth controller. Maybe it is time to reconsider?

I am using the Erae 2 primarily as softsynth controller and tried this synth pretty short. The main focus is the integration with the Erae. It can switch layouts with the presets, which is a smart idea. Though I tend to use the same layout (LinnStrument inspired) for all my sounds, but still that is the main use case. i own an erae2 also. While i am still waiting for basic impelemtations (like midi latch, i mean cmon..) i think this is exactly as you would use other MPE Softsynths?
This company does not seem to focus on making things users ask for, nothing is really "finished" and immediately the next is incoming. That's cool, but not very charming to me.
I think i will still buy it because i like the basic idea or the Erae very much

I feel like they do listen, but they don’t seem to act on what they hear. They did help me quite a bit when my unit had a hardware defect though.

I have a feeling they have a pretty focused roadmap. I did send them a wishlist when I was communicating with them about my hardware issue, but to the best of my knowledge, none of it has been implemented.

Erae Sound seems nice, but I’m feeling like the amount of interest it is generating is pretty telling. Did embodme ever communicate that it was even in the works? I don’t remember anything about a synth coming when I jumped on the kickstarter. It was a surprise to me.
