A Reddit user found a DrumFreak placeholder link on Arturia's website. No details, just the name. It's since been removed. I've been hoping for a Drumfreak. If the rest of the Freak line is anything to go by it should be decent. I'm also hoping there'll be a VST version

Drumfreak makes a lot of sense- maybe like a hardware Battalion!

too bad it's only a place holder. If its under 400 though it will sell well

Under $400 would be a great price point, but my gut tells me it will be a little more than that. Seeing as this is presumably the drum counterpart to the MiniFreak, I'm guessing it will probably be priced similarly, around $600 and will still sell well. I'm also wondering if the DrumFreak will be based on the Beatstep Pro design/physical framework and pads, similar to the way the MiniFreak and KeyStep Pro share a similar chassis and keybed. I guess we'll have to wait and see on both accounts. I don't need another hardware drum machine, but if DrumFreak is the drum sampler equivalent to the MiniFreak, I'll have a hard time keeping my fingers off the Buy Now button.
