"familiar" would be overdone but as I got it in a bundle while beginning to use phil speiser stuff I tried it out a bit. And was really surprised cause I thought I wont use it at all (I have not thought about buying it cause I have more then enough drum stuff, it was just in the bundle for free) but it is really a nice one.dermichl wrote: Thu Jun 11, 2026 9:45 am is anybody familiar with this drum plug-in? Seems to be like a drummer I can tell what to play and to come up with ideas...
I dont think you will really need it if you have something like Triaz or Playbeat but it is really nice and useable to get you started and fairly easy to use after watching the introductory video.
And yes, you can let it create drumkit AND drumpattern ideas.
As all the Phil Speiser stuff it is definitely for "modern" music mainly, not for stuff like ambient, country, rock, folk......
But apart from his marketing behaviour I really like most of his products, the stuff itself is not bad (depending on your needs there are better plugins and not so good ones). And you always find a good introductionary video that helps to get you started.
It is one of the older plugins definitely so I wonder if there will be a The Pattern 2 around the corner cause most of the plugs of the same time now have been develloped to version 2.

Honestly, I think the drums on this thing sound like absolute crap regardless of what patterns it can come up with. Now, if it generates MIDI and I can replace the sounds with my own sounds then maybe we've got something.
