$99 for what's basically a sub bass generator, plus all the UVI generic iLok crap attached? Pass.

I'm all for synths that do one thing well, like different kick-drum synths do, and so I'm curious about this one.
Aurally, when playing around with Rumble--beyond listening to the videos--can anyone who has tried it comment on how it sounds? Is it really distinct from what any good synth can come up with?

welll..that is not entirely correct. It is just a synth. 3 OSC's over 3 freq bands and a max of 16 voices poly.osiris wrote: Thu Jun 11, 2026 2:18 pm $99 for what's basically a sub bass generator, plus all the UVI generic iLok crap attached? Pass.

That's how he had a stroke?enCiphered wrote: Thu Jun 11, 2026 2:12 pmHe accidentally heard the synth without compression, saturation and six affiliate links.
Rumble apparently modulates the lower jaw as well.

Yeah it's really good and with enough control to design most bass sounds you might want very quickly. I understand people that say they could just do the same but more with Serum. That's mostly true, but in order for it to be fully true you'd probably need multiple instances of Serum across different tracks. I really value dedicated tools that provide genuine workflow improvements and this for me is one of those tools. I think it will be my main go-to for basses moving forward.buffalo roam wrote: Thu Jun 11, 2026 3:17 pm I'm all for synths that do one thing well, like different kick-drum synths do, and so I'm curious about this one.
