I tested the demo and I think this plugin is too complicated for a hobbyist but for a sound enginner. Of course, there are presets but I like to use a plugin to its full possibilities. There are knobs spread across the UI which interact each other and I got a headhacke trying to understand the logic behind this. I watch some vids on YouTube, it is so tough to understand this plug in, that a video is 40 mn long ! I have been interested in UNI-L because low, mid and high frequencies are processed individually, which could be an advantage over L2 which saturates when you send too many subs frequencies (60-80 hz) for techno rumble kicks.

What are the reasons for a hobbyist/ someone honing their chops to change from Pro L-2 to this?

Would anyone here feel that the P21 Atlas sounds significantly better than the Uni-L?

Not sure this is a direct comparison. Unlike most of their previous releases, Pulsar's marketing is completely obscure about what's going on in this unit. The best I can tell from reading up on the 'Spacey' forum is that it's kind of like Gullfoss and a limiter had a baby. I'm not really a big fan of broadband Gullfoss/Teote dynamic EQs, so wasn't interested in demoing.

Would be interested to hear people's thoughts if they've tested it.
