Hi everyone,

I just finished a new VST called RADIOCORE 4471.

FACE A

FACE B

It’s a radio broadcast / voice FX plugin focused on:

signal distortion
transmission-style processing
broken radio / noise textures
experimental voice sound design

I built it mainly for creative sound design (vocals, FX chains, noisy / industrial textures).

Here’s a short demo:
👉

There is also a 7-day demo version available on my site if anyone wants to try it in their own workflow:

I’m mainly looking for honest feedback from other producers / sound designers:

does the concept make sense in your workflow?
what would you improve or change?
would you actually use something like this in your projects?

Thanks for taking the time to check it out 👍

As I said at GS, this is pretty cool. I will probably pick it up at some point. :tu:

Yea I dunno how it works, it automatically started timing the demo for me and presents an activate option.

Payhip payment processing, tho I didn’t buy it yet.

I don't dislike the general aethetic, but the knob positions are really hard to see, especially on Face B.

That is a graphical UI mess of highest (lowest?) caliber, which calms down directly any interest for me - and I do voice processings and voice sound design as part of my professional work for decades.

It’s a bit hard to read, but I don’t mind the look myself, as I’m a big fan of Fallout (the game). Which the style reminds me of. YMMV.

I love the basic sound character and the enormous variety of sounds one can get. Will keep testing just to make sure but initial impressions are this is the best signal degrading plugin I have tried

one caveat is the interface design - It is a nice artwork but far too busy for me and I imagine for anyone with vision problems. It ends up reducing speed. I would appreciate an additional simplified skin. Maybe just desaturate the backgrounds?
I do like the A/B panels, and an even bigger size would be handy as well for accessibility.

But the sound is fantastic and I think if you revised the look with usability uppermost for at least one skin you would have a real winner on your hands

Definitely agree on the sound. It's really interesting. And the interface probably won't stop me buying, but it needs uniformity. The variety of typefaces and the letters out of alignment really don't work for efficiency. The rust could go too.

Also what are the messages flashing through the display on the front panel? Just random bits of text? I thought they were presets cycling through at first.

Any chance we might see a Linux build?
