While looking for a more organic way to create sounds, I came across Portatron, and it’s definitely an instrument with a lot of potential!
I’m curious who else is using it here, and what features you would add to improve this tool.
Personally, I’d love to see it as a standalone application. I’d also add a button to record the entire session in one go and then export it directly as a WAV file.
I’m also sharing a video that showcases its warm sound and the way it naturally pushes you to use your ears and creativity to stay in rhythm, pretty fun stuff.

I agree with the record and ping-pong function , both as a standalone or a plugin, to plainly emulate original hardware's
...and though it can be achieved by third-party emulations, recreates pedal effects chains at the input and eventually mic models, and a send/return for external effects
so an original and modular virtual home-studio configuration from the eighties !!!!
