This made the all the difference to me as I was always intrigued by Retrologue but the eyestrain prevented my using it ever. Now at max size I can see what's going on with ease.

I also found out a way to resize backbone and groove agent so I'm a happy camper essentially gaining 3 new plugins, thought I'd mention that as well in case people like myself weren't aware.
Good to know! I have it and never use it for the same reason but I do like the sound.

When you say you can resize backbone do you mean scaling it? If I remember right the size of the window could change but not the scale, or is that not the case.

where do you even get updates? I've got a Steinerg activation manager and a steinberg library manager and I don't see updates in either.

Ah, found a Donwload Manager, which seems to just hang. Cool.

Yeah can't get the download manager to finish any insatllations.

Yeah you're right backbone doesn't scale now that I look at it, though I do like the extra spaciousness. I managed to tease a nice perc out of it and think I'll end up using it more as it can really do some unique things to samples which can then be dragged outand saved as wavs or into kits, drum pads for immediate use.

Retrologue scales though, I put it at the max avail (100% i think) on my cpu and it's now the perfect size.

Groove Agent seems a little confounding to use, so probably a wash there for me.

Hopefully Steinberg updates similar resizing options for all there instruments eventually. For backbone and Halion especially would be nice.

HALion has the resizing option already.

Wow, the Steinberg installers are garbage. First down the Download Assistant. Ok, run that that it hangs from trying to reinstall mediabay. Eventually says couldn't download the mediabay but try online download. Ok I find an installer on the site, download that. Also hangs, never finishes. Tried installing retrolog anyways from in the Steinberg download manager. Doesn't finish. Ok maybe I can find retrolog installer online as there's a dedicated downloads page. Selected Retrolog, it gives my a link for the Steinberg Download assistant! That was a fun circle. F this.

Really? Where and how? This I'd be very interested to know. I do know you can drag the corner, etc. but if it scales that would be even better. For the Yamaha synth in particular.

It's HALion 7.1.50/HALion Sonic 7.1.50, came out in January

According to this thread

https://forums.steinberg.net/t/ui-scali ... ng/1021619

It might only work if you host it in Cubase or use it in standalone mode, I only ever use it that way so I can't say for certain if that is true, so I can't confirm if that's true. I do know it works on both stand along and Cubase 15
