Hi all, you may know of Ample Guitars and how they have a strummer panel built in to it. It provides an almost higher level way of getting a strummed guitar out of the plugin. I am wondering if there is anything similar that uses MIDI Out, because I want to use it with my Kontakt Guitars!
Pleaseeee, I am on the verge of programming one myself (which I really don't want to have to do)
Looking for a Strumming midi out plugin!

Blue Arp and InstaChord can do it. Check the youtube videos of blue arp, pretty impressive. Instachord also has a pretty good one. I think Audio Modern's Chordjam can do strums and maybe Mario Nieto (Harmony Bloom guy) might have one as well.
One note with Blue Arp, you may have to adjust the settings (or octave, I've forgotten which) because by default it will overlap with kontakt's control keys (open, muted, etc. keys).

What DAW are you using? You might have something appropriate already built-in (FSP has it as a function in the midi editor, Bitwig has a MIDI FX for strumming, Logic has Q-Flam, ...).
Otherwise, BlueARP is indeed very good, with lots of strumming and picking patterns in the factory library.
The tricky thing is this though: If you want to do what Ample Guitar Riffer/Strummer does, you will need to make sure that the right notes on the right strings are being played for a given chord.
