Sounds perfect, hope i get to hear some of it if you use STRANG! You will have a voucher in your pm shortly. Been having some issues with the signups but just let me know if theres any issues. Hopefully they are sorted now.zerocrossing wrote: Sat Jun 13, 2026 3:34 pmSounds great! Why do I want it? STRANG 2 is built around a single conviction. A great synth should breathe. So we took the bones of a classic subtractive, one core oscillator, the helpers it needs, filters that bite, and grafted convolution into its body. The result isn't a hybrid. It's a subtractive that finally has room to live in.
With our Corridor reverb engine built in, that room is architecture, not algorithm. Every note arrives from a place.
To mark the launch, I'm giving away 10 copies. Want one? Reply with a reason and I'll PM the winners a voucher code. Yours to keep.
Try it free, or grab it for $59. macOS now (AU / VST3 / Standalone / AAX), Windows landing this week.

Sounds great, and ambient is exactly where it shines, I'd love to hear what you make with it. Check your PM for a voucher.zerocrossing wrote: Sat Jun 13, 2026 3:34 pmSounds great! Why do I want it? Heads up, I had a few teething issues with the vouchers and site earlier tonight, so just shout if anything acts up and I'll sort it right away.

I would ask for a copy but I'm on Windows. Been buying and playing synths for almost 50 years now. If I can find a way to break something, I'll break it. Anyway, good luck with the launch. I'm sure you'll do well with it.

According to the website there is a Windows version (that is landing this week) but I don't see a demo version.

A subtractive synth that doesn't sound boxed in, that's exactly what's missing from most plugins in this category. Would love to throw STRANG 2 into my live rig and let those convolution reverbs breathe on some pad/lead layers, the "every note arrives from a place" idea is basically what I'm always chasing with reverb sends anyway. Count me in!

The convolution side of it is pretty different. It happens before the filter and modulators, and has even more impact than the oscillators.Teksonik wrote: Sat Jun 13, 2026 3:42 pm I don't want a free license but it sounds pretty good based solely on the video. That may well be but nothing I hear in the video couldn't be reproduced with other synths I own.Uncle E wrote: Sat Jun 13, 2026 9:16 pm The convolution side of it is pretty different. It happens before the filter and modulators, and has even more impact than the oscillators.
Without a demo version to try, the video is all the info I have to go on at this point.
If there is ever a Windows demo version I'll give it a fair tryout.

Makes me very happy to hear! Check your PM.Sandra F wrote: Sat Jun 13, 2026 7:04 pm It sounds amazing, very different. I want it to give a different color and movement to my music. I don’t have time to deep dive into complex synths! Good idea!

Ha! I'll let it speak for itself rather than talk it up. Hopefully it earns a spot next to your favorites. Trial's free, give it a go.
