MIDI player for triggering short pre-recorded sections live

I play easy piano parts in 3 songs with a stage piano.

For most of the song I play live normally, but there are a few specific short sections (20–40 seconds) where I want to trigger a pre-recorded MIDI file so the piano plays it automatically while I mime the part (keys should be muted during this).

I need a super simple standalone hardware device (no laptop, no iPad, no computer on stage if possible). Trigger with footswitch or one key, then seamlessly continue playing live.

Any recommendations or better ideas how to make it?

Or is it the best way to use macbook (Logic, Main stage, Ableton?)
