"The Stuff": A great start with strong panning. Only then does the actual
groove begin – medium-fast, medium-dramatic. The solo instrument: Is it
a synth? It seems so to me. Very nicely played – always keeping the motif
in focus. A very clear and coherent song.

Spot on! If you are referring to the top melody that substitutes for a lead vocal, it is most definitely a synth (one saw layer + one square layer with some highly resonant filtering to give it a slightly nasal quality).

The SoundCloud algorithm barely shared that instrumental version of the track that included the top melody. SoundCloud also forbid the posting of my remix cover version of the track because of the uncleared vocal samples; however, SoundClick did allow me to post it, thankfully.
