That was unpleasant. Too clicky.
And it needs Hip Hop.
There are two kinds of people in the world. And you're not one of them.

Sorry and thank you for listening.
too, clicky, I can somehow understand - not the usual hip hop beat

"Clicky" means the crisp/sharp attack on the kik in particular. Boyz who pretend to be from da hood want low n long 808s subjected to several layers of distortion.

Technically, it is a bit more House with that piano lick.

With Rap genres, you either have it, or you don't as a general rule. Doesn't mean you can't get closer, but 'they' know what they want. If you aren't exactly that, they will :poop: on you (as you see already).

I did this for a training course (end of the vid if it doesn't locate) and I cheated by leaning on loops from Hank Shocklee of The Bomb Squad who made Public Enemy's music beds that were in the Reason factory soundbank. This was a joke as wannabes were saying the music I used for training wasn't cool enough. Of course, they never ponied anything when I offered to use their much cooler choonz.

Something else to know about Rappaz: That music bed was on YT for a year and lots of views appeared from nowhere - which meant lots of d'loads. Which leads to the conclusion that people were illegally using this for their own "songs". Yet in that time, no feedback was ever given, no thanks, no alerts, nothing but silence as they would no doubt have pretended dey done dis beet demselvz. "Don't believe the tripe" ;-)

Thanks for listening, thanks for your true thoughts on it, which I can understand.
One thing:
todays hiphop beats might be centered around sub kicks, but I dont want to do that.
A good sub sound is so phat, that there is not much room, for me playing bass guitar to it.

This is one of many reasons why I have no interest in working in the Hip Pop area as it is too hung up on rulez (they made up to cover their own inadequacies). Do what you want and carve your own path. That, after all, was a cornerstone of real Rap.

That is indeed very "clacky" — it’s something you’d at least have
to get used to. If you reduce the transients here, this track
could actually become quite interesting in a pop sort of way.
So — what are you waiting for?

And yes: Why don't you pursue your own ambitions, your own
style? That would be my suggestion to you as well.
