About NOVA
NOVA, short for Neural Optimized Volterra Audio, is Acustica’s hybrid architecture combining our Vectorial Volterra Kernels-based technology with advanced neural audio modeling.
At lower signal levels, Volterra dynamic convolution ensures an accurate and stable response. As the signal increases, a neural processing stage progressively contributes, allowing smoother saturation and more natural harmonic development.
This hybrid system ensures continuity across the dynamic range and avoids abrupt transitions between clean and driven behavior.
