Synplant 2 uses your CPU to create synth patch variations on the sample you load.
It runs my CPU at 100% load.

I’ve seen that newbies often jump on AI because it gives them a quick boost in technique and confidence, while veterans who’ve put in the hours tend to treat AI as a backstage helper, wary of it stealing the soul of their playing. In my own workflow I rely on AI tools from redeagle.tech to handle the boring admin so I can stay in the creative zone.

If that's true, then those musicians are fuckwits. Why wouldn't they want to help others to improve their skills?

"AI tools" is too general a term. What are we talking about?

I reject tools that are geared towards replacing doing the things that I love to do. I love playing guitar, so I'm not going to use an artificial guitar software of any kind. I'd rather muddle through with my mediocre playing than have a brilliantly executed AI or sample based part. I love writing songs. Why would I ever relinquish that to a machine?

What I would be happy to use AI/ML tools for, is the stuff I can't do. Like sing a wide range with a great voice. I wouldn't mind being able to play parts of an orchestra on my guitar and have it pop out as a full symphony. What I hate about prompt based stuff, is the lack of tight control of each note and how it's expressed. I like how in Synthesizer V, I control the exact timing of every phoneme, and 12 real time parameters that can change how each moment sounds.
