My girlfriend has a JX-3P in storage and wants to sell it since it basically doubled in price sitting in there over the years.

Is the right move just to move it and get $600?

I am arguing towards keeping it.

But should I keep it stock, or wise to go with a mod?

I see on the Kiwi Mod page, they say "LAST ORDERS WE WILL BE STOPPING PRODUCTION SOON". That's why I'm posting...decisions, decisions. https://www.kiwitechnics.com/jx3pupgrade.htm

Currently I am 100% in the box, but back in the day I had several analog synths from a Matrix 6, Yamaha CS15, and even a Prophet 5 that someone left at my studio for like 6 months.

I definitely don't need the JX-3P, but I guess I am asking to be convinced that I do! Or at least to get the argument together to convince her that I do.

I also have a couple of Novation ReMOTE Mk1's so I can possibly set them up as controllers.

Thanks for any feedback.

The JX3-P sounds great, and I like it's sequencer
The Midi is very primitive, but also a great thing to have.
If you have the PG200, it's easy to program, and fun!!
