Let me know if you need another tester, I have a i5 with Iris XE graphics for the moment, great for low-end testing as it's pretty modest.

*I did pick up the bundle btw...

Partials & Discrepancies sounds very intriguing! Will there be an option to have the more restrained, cool colour scheme from Curves & Membranes? As in, "less red" :-)

Also, what is that controller you're using in conjunction with the Seaboard? If you don't mind me asking...

Thanks, it is a really interesting synth, if I am allowed to say so!

The controller is the OMX27, a diy project I picked up like 6 years ago. To be sincere I dug it out to have an extra set of mini midi keys when I test stuff sitting in my kitchen.

I will most likely not have different colour schemes. But the synth is not released yet, so who knows.

Understood! It looks great as it is, I just know that after six hours staring at a screen, my eyes appreciate the calmer, more towards less saturated, almost monochrome colour schemes.

I found that I actually don't watch the screen as much when I play Partials & Discrepancies - with Curves & Membranes it is all about showing exactly what happens with the sound at all time, which is a bit easier with a monosynth, and that is captivating. This synth is more similar to other synths, in that I had to compromise on that directness, but it is also way wider soundwise, so I find myself often playing more, especially when using the Expressive E Osmose or The Seaboard Rise 49 in the studio. I kind of look out the window and just enjoy the patches really.

I dunno what I really wanted to say with that. The interface is still dim and dark and not really punching anyone in the face. The delay however, was a try to use the company accent color, as I do think everyone should have a delay with pink accent! :D

A little update today:

Updated the full suite today with the scroll gesture after a user made me aware of it. And some less hacksy rescaling.

There is a news post here:

Here is a sound demo for the coming synth, Partials & Discrepancies, that will be released in a week from now.
(all used patches will be included as presets)

I should probably start a new thread for it once it is released…

Anyway, the demo is also using 3 effect plugins, based on a mental model of a room and with three dimensional orbital modulation.

The effects will be released at the same time as the synth.

binaural modulator, a panning/stereo movement plugin, will be available for free
geometry reverb, a hall type reverb with some quirks, will be free for all paying costumers, new and old
geometry delay, a multi-tap delay with doppler effect, will be 29 euro incl. VAT.

Already ready to buy :) !

Nice, interesting sound. Might be too paddy and atmospheric for me, but nevertheless looks and sounds like a high quality synth. Congratulations!

Thanks a lot. I think the video/demo is a bit tainted by my personal preference, it can do much more, and is quite snappy with short decay times. And though I've have played with it daily for the last month (it has just been bug finding and small tweaks for a month) - I keep finding new stuff to try and new kind of sonic motion in it. That in itself is quite surprising as the structure is quite simple.

But it is not a synth for everyone. It is built to be a quick path into additive synthesis and its sonic potential, which is something that my old K5000s has never offered me. And of course it has some quirks that I haven't seen on other synths like this one. ;)

Congrats! This is quite cool. I am thinking about getting the whole range with the bundle - I assume the new synth will be added to the bundle? Are you also planning on individual upgrade pricing, once having bought the bundle, if new products come up?
