The title says it all:
Is this track suitable for recording rap vocals on it?

reworked it, added several instrumental lines to it:

My quick thoughts: the synth chords in the background don't quite sit well with the bassline, I'd ditch them and make the bassline more upfront / more compressed / more in the face - it's a cool line, so make it more prominent. The vocal/fx sample is good, but it would serve as a break/chorus between rap lines (if it is intention to add words), so I'd keep the bare drums and bass for large fragments where words would go... Drums are also a bit soft for a hip-hop, smash them.

Thank you for your review.
You are suzrely right. the beat is not punchy enough for HipHop. Just trying to make it louder won´t solve the problem.
Bass is compressed - sidechained compressed: I can try harder, no big fan of dynamic compressors.
Yes, the harmony is a lil wierd, I hoped it would go through, but when you are mentioning now the chords, I must agree, the chords are not sitting perfectly.
Too much of the sampled vocals, yep...
Feedback might be hard to accept ( or not) but trying to work on yourself is so much harder then just hearing critics.
If you can´t stand critics, you should not show any one anything you did.
Thanks again.

I don't know much about Hip Hop, but I really enjoyed listening to it, second time round as well. As you are asking for comments I'd say it felt like it needed more 'conversation' around the instruments. Like if you match the song with the picture of the crowd -
Maybe a cowbell to compliment the timpani, djembes and tambours to support the drums, etc...to give more of a party atmosphere.

But I wouldn't add too much cos it has a groove of its own!

Yes, maybe more room brings up the conversation, I mean, too many midi lines playing at the same time is allways too much. I need to delete some parts, maybe

No, please don't do that. Really, it's fine as it is. I was only giving an opinion on what I would add, not what you should subtract.

btw, I meant 'marimba', not 'timpani'. Slight dyslexia there.

Thanks again for your feedback.
Now 27 single midi tracks summing up to this new track.
Maybe it is too much already.
Never in a hurry - music and art n general takes much time.
Just ambition ain´t enought.
