Peter Semiletov - Ulyot (official music video)
Music, performance: Peter Semiletov
Script, direction, filming, editing: Peter Semiletov
AI graphics created using the Veo neural network
Location: Kiev, Shlikhtera Street in the 2000s and slightly later
The title "Ulyot" has too many meanings in Russian to translate it accurately, although it can be roughly translated as the English "blast" (meaning "cool"), but with a nuance leaning toward "flying".
I worked on this music video simultaneously with "The Ho Chi Minh Trail," and the location (and inspiration) was Shlikhtera Street, where I walked and biked a lot, so I filmed it extensively on my smartphone. From the accumulated videos, photos, and impressions, I generated AI video scenes and blended them with real footage. The music was recorded in Reaper on ArchLinux (bass, electric guitar, U-He synthesizers, Drumlabooh).

Very cool! The "Linux" plugs were a nice touch!
Very well done!

(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

Love it as well. Reminds me of the old days when the internet was weird and interesting.
When the data is corrupt in the Desert of the Real, Beyond the Last Thought, where intuition reigns, is the solace that will embolden and strengthen the soul, giving hope once more to this age of failing technique. eassae.com
