Why are you complaining about a free plugin that makes noise? Why does it need to be better than everything else that came before it? Just let the dude create tools he enjoys and shares with everyone... for free!

You all will seriously complain about ANYTHING.
Interesting interpretation. Do you often feel like people are complaining about things? Do you hear them when you're alone? These voices that you hear who are constantly complaining - are they in the room with us right now?

Don't understand that comment above ^^^ but hats off to anyone who makes free plugins, in addition I'm using Texture Loom.

Post

People complain because of their very own emptiness inside. So those are looking for something to fill in, no matter what. Here is something to fill the empty space which should make them calm down a bit. Also a nice showcase of how Texture Loom could be used to create some nice Ambient Textures.

^This sort of stuff always makes me think of early Tangerine Dream, before they break into their awesome sequencer sections.

kind of strange, the youtube videos get some more comments about this not made by s1gns of l1fe coded himself but vibe coded and stuff. maybe it is clever to use this technology to make new plugins and quick bucks but i dunno, this should be clearly communicated like on STEAM where there is an info box if AI was used.... strangely here nor on youtube it is not commented yet. i will wait for the next purchases.... sad as i bought nearly everything from him but i wont buy any vibe coded stuff without clear communication IF thats the case.

Just assume every developer gets help from AI. It does not say anything about the quality of a plugin or the quality of the code. Test it, and if you like the result its good, no matter how it had been achieved. AI is nothing more than a tool...

and if i feed an AI with infos to do a music track then it is also only a tool making music for me and claiming i did the music myself?

Out of the perspective of the musician it would be 1/1000th of the fun part of actually creating music. And I could not be proud of it...
Out of the perspective of a consumer, not knowing how a piece of music had been created, the only important criterion is: does it touch you or not?
On another level would be the question, if AI created music would gain monetary input, though it is per definition in the public domain. Nobody should pay for it...
The grey area would be how to value the creative input into the prompts...

Post

Don't underestimate consumer anger concerning AI music -- mostly the feeling they have they've been duped. And I agree, per recent court cases there's no copyright with AI generated music so anyone could do anything they want with it, including re-releasing it with their own name.

Post

Though releasing AI music which isn't based on your prompts under your name would be a lie, and could destroy your reputation permanently. A punishment no court could do harder than that...

This is becoming one of the most useful tools in my Sampling/Looping kit. Especially the rate buttons / being freely midi assignable, this is highly a useful little gem for sound design + realtime performance.

I have a couple questions.

Q. 1. does it reference the files on our cpu's or does it resave them, when we save patches ?

Q. 2. I know this isn't meant to be a full on sampler/looper ,but it would be great if we could see a visual waveform of the audio, so we could really dive in and get even more creative.

A FR : potentially sync/timestretch audio together. I have a million thoughts on how this could end up being one of the most powerful loopers , let me stop before I bog you down.

I see your vision here, this is an incredible tool.
