From the SpaceWalk creator, there's a new plugin called PhraseLab that looks a lot like InstaComposer:

This was an instabuy for me as I really love the Spacewalk generator.

I would say while it looks a little like Instacomposer (I have version 3 too) its different, maybe even more comparable to Melody Sauce for example.

But while it is still on early (0.3.2) but already buyable beta it has already great improvements (for example lots of added styles now, maybe the most general/traditional music styles I have ever seen in such an app) from 0.2 to 0.3.2 now.

Of course you have to take this into account if you buy it as this early stage, there are still problems with plugin integration and sadly there is (not now) no direct integration with spacewalk so far (but its planned).

Still already worth buying if you like me crazy about things like this

Thanks for the kind words! Yeah, been working hard on the plugin hosting stuff recently. I put out a v0.5.1 release last weekend which I *think* is a lot better on the hosting side. I’d welcome your feedback on whether that plays better with your plugins, and if it doesn’t which in particular are being naughty! There’s a new ‘create support bundle’ option in the settings which will help me diagnose a little better

The 16 step limit for these plugins is aggravating. Yes, I understand you can chain up to 12 patterns. That's not the same thing, and it requires multiple, annoying steps that should be unnecessary. It's software. You should be able to make it however long as you want.
