Speaking of syncronizing waves...is this "hard sync" you guys are referring to? maybe not, but my ol' hardware Wavestation EX has a quite basic form of hard sync, and even a wave called "pro sync", in the sample ROM, because that is what it is, a sample player, but somewhat sophisticated, especially for the early nineties. The "pro sync" wave seems to have been specially designed for this effect. The "hard sync sweep", kinda like a flanger. ...

I figured out the problem. I still think this is a bug. If you assign mod wheel through the main interface and then assign controller 1 through the MIDI control center, they conflict. You have to do both assignments through the MIDI Control center.
Now it's smooth on both controls. Problem solved. But I still think this is a bug. You should be able to assign through both places since we have the option to do so.
