Here is the video from the Old Towne Pub show last month:


My set is first, followed by great sets from other LA Synth Club members.

This was a lot of fun to play, as I got to play the "big" live rig. Lots of improvised noodling and live sampling/manipulation. I think I did pretty well!

I may post the uncompressed audio from my set to bandcamp at some point.

Thanks for watching everyone! I've been meaning to listen to some stuff in the cafe but work has been kicking my ass. Hopefully I will get a chance this weekend. I have Constructed Identity's new album playing in the background here at the office. Great stuff!

The EM night at Old Towne Pub is organized by my friend Kyle/Humongous Frog. I do an open-mic night in Burbank and next week, will be the first of the Modular on the Spot events I'm helping with, in Santa Monica. I don't usually perform at events where I'm also organizing/hosting. It's a lot of work!
We're planning more events around LA and making connections with bigger venues. I'd really like to do a west coast tour some time in the future.

Damn, I miss going to shows like that, and yours sounded great. The next time I get down to So Cal, I'll have to remind myself to see what you're up to. I used to go to, and be involved in, shows like this in the SF area, but that was when I was young, and full of life.
