I know i can mute other bands to play 1 oscillator, but Solo button would be really more handy.
that's what the band expand does

For me that's a massive omission, I can't think of any other popular synth with this limitation. I had a go with analog drift but it didn't seem to offer sound design options that would compensate.

Edit, sorry, I meant real free.
Not saying it will never be there though. it's 1.0.0.
I think UVI have a proven record of updating synth :)

I dont like that you cannot solo the band or also just run oscillator in full band or just switch bands for experimentation, for example - assign low oscillator to play high band.
You can just run 1 osc at a time. You don't have to use that MB approach at all. However, you then have only 1 osc. For some reason you cannot run all three osc's full band
thats what i said

But you can run an osc in full band. So....

"or also just run oscillator in full band" <- is false. Because you can. That was my point.

-Unsaved changes dialog pops up everytime I tweak a setting and try to change presets. There needs to be an option to disable this.
-Plugin preferences revert to default when loading a new instance.
I'm on mac.
1. fixed in upcoming 1.0.1
2. What is Plugin preferences ?
Good news about 1.
On the preferences, I had virtual keyboard, tooltips, and spectrum all set to 'hide' and whenever I opened a new instance of Rumble, they'd all revert back to 'show'.
When I tried it again this morning, it's keeping those preferences as expected. I'll write it off as something on my end for now and do a ticket if it happens again. Cheers.

You can press the <--> button on whichever osc you want to "solo/full band".

Lbdunequest wrote: Sun Jun 21, 2026 1:30 pmAbility to have each oscillator split in to bands is not novel, but indeed this is unique since you don't have to do that manually inside the synth with routing
Name one other synth that allows this. AFAIK, PhasePlant would require a complex set-up whereby you'd have to band filter three FX lanes separately and if you wanted to change or modulate the cross-overs, you'd have to do it for each lane separately.
I dont like that you cannot solo the band or also just run oscillator in full band.
Except you can do exactly that by pressing the arrow button next to the oscillator label. If you want to solo it in its band, you have to press mute twice (for the other bands.). Hardly the end of the world.
switch bands for experimentation
Hardly necessary when setting up an oscillator is so easy. There are only a handful of osc settings to copy across, it would take seconds, probably less time that it would take to scroll down all the modules in PhasePlant to find the ones you want to switch lanes.

Yes, pressing two buttons is so much more effort than pressing one. You're just nitpicking, especially when you suggest something as complex and annoying as PhasePlant is a better alternative.

And I honestly can't think of a situation where that has ever been an issue for me in 40+ years of patching synths. I'm sure it must have come up once or twice over the years, it's a good way of hiding sloppy playing, but it's not like I don't have another 100 VSTi if I need something one of them can't do.
