I want users to vouch with me for a feature most modern plugins are missing.

I always thought all plugins had some kind of randomizer but it was usually only available internally to the developers for creating new preset packs that they sell. Lol

Actually I love making presets, it's one of my favorite things. I find using tools that offer patch randomization to be awesome for making presets because you can have it generate a new patch for you and then you can use that like an init patch and tweak it or even radically alter it. This is especially true I have found with patches that get randomly generated and don't seem to actually work or sound all that well. You look at and listen to them and then fix themsynaesthesia wrote: Thu Jun 18, 2026 2:33 pmBeing a preset maker, I like to... erm... make presets. This would not be making presets.Phlangeez wrote: Wed Jun 17, 2026 1:16 am People ranging from new preset makers to experienced ones should vouch for random oscillator/filter/envelope/etc. randomization features as an idea tool.
Again, no. If you don't enjoy making presets, you're not really a preset maker are you?
This will take you places you never would have thought of before especially with deep Synths. In the end you will have your own unique patch you just started from a different place
It's like a songwriter being inspired by working in collaboration with another songwriter to try new ideas they never would have thought of on their own
Of course you can still make as many presets as you want the same way you do in addition to trying this, it's not replacing anything you do now just enhancing it

Funny how so many are against "AI" randomization in this thread, and they don't know what an LLM is.
There are two kinds of people in the world. And you're not one of them.
