It's on sale now. If the air band is the main draw, how does it compare to the Maag or Luftikus eqs, does anyone know from experience?

Anybody rockin' this in 2026? I got the free clipper and now i get emails about this plugin being $24.99 for a limited time every day, so just wondering if anyone stuck with it in mixes.

Edit: I am familiar with the hardware but I have seen that it is different from the hardware. Just want judgements based on what it is and if you actually use it in mixes.

Testing it again right now. I think the EQ is superb and indeed adds some softness and Air. The Compressor judging from the presets is a bit too grabby on my pads & atmos, yet when tweaked should be pretty perfect, as also being a highly tweakable Opto.

I spent some time with it tonight and I definitely agree with your findings...cool EQ. I like dialing the comp with the needle just moving, but then found a couple of presets that were a lot more aggressive and sounded cool.

Maybe I want a little more 3d magic from the "tubes"...i dunno. I hear what it does giving a little mid bump, and like it. I need to read the manual tonight.

I saw a Youtube comment from Kazrog two years ago where they said "tube rolling" was a possibility, and that would be a definite buy from me.

But the price is right, for sure, and I'll keep playing with it on different stuff and hopefully not miss the sale, if I decide to grab it.

I'm not ready to demo other Kazrog emulations - I can't be in the market for $50 compressors right now.

Its actually still on Sale for $25, so I am also on the fence. Also truly like the Kazrog modelling, as there seem to be some good ears involved. But lets keep it real, its always 'almost' sounding like the hardware, until you get the hardware. We are getting near, yet not fully there; so maybe thats also the 3D you have mentioned. With that said, True Iron 2 is also on its way and really looking forward to check that one out.
