This is what Google says

Unfiltered Audio Battalion does not have a direct, built-in "disable DAW sync" switch. However, you can achieve your exact goal of triggering its sequencer on note-on while bypassing host sync by using a specific workaround.

How to Set It Up:

Bypass the Internal Sequencer: On the Perform page, turn the Probability or Density knob to 0 and lock it. This prevents the internal sequence from playing on its own or syncing to your DAW's clock.

Okay, so right off the bat, there is no Probability or Density knob. At least none I can find. So where is it? Can somebody post a video or screen print showing where this is?

Right now, as soon as I start my DAW playback. it starts playing. I don't want it to do this. I want to trigger it via a note on command.

Please help.

I just got this last weekend. So far my impression is positive, but I haven't gotten through everything.
One of the reasons I bought it was because it seems intuitive to use. I almost never use a VST's sequencer though so I can't help but have you read the manual yet? I should read it.

The information from Google appears to be completely hallucinated. The manual says when "STOP" is pressed it also disables DAW follow, but when "PLAY" is pressed then DAW follow is enabled again. On another page it says Channel 10 is used for transport control via MIDI notes, with Note 0 being play/stop toggle, Note 1 being "force Battalion to play", and Note 2 being "force Battalion to stop".

Yea, I wouldn't trust anything Google (AI) says, RTFM.

Yeah, google AI likes to tell you to press a certain button, then when you tell it there's no such button, the AI tells you 'that's because there is no such button'.

Well, I read the manual and it was no help because MIDI notes 0, 1 and 2 don't work. At least not in Cubase 15. I tried both the -2 and -1 sections. They trigger single notes but don't trigger playback.

So nobody here knows how to do this? Does anybody here even use this plugin? If so, how do YOU use it that actually makes it useful?

Post

Midi note 0 is whatever the lowest note is that you can send. C0 is typically some number of octaves higher than that, but different plugins call it differently - but "Note 0" is always the absolute lowest.

As for the keys triggering single notes it sounds like the plugin is not receiving them on Channel 10 - make sure that's how you've got it set up. Otherwise... I've no idea. No, I do not use this plugin.

What dwringer said: The transport and mixer toggles need to be on Channel 10. Note 0 toggle playback, Note 1 is force play and note 2 is force stop.

I tried it one more time. Now it works. I guess I must have done something wrong. I have no idea what but now it works.

Thanks.

Yeah, I did that and it didn't work and so I tried it again just for the hell of it and it worked the 2nd time. Obviously I did something wrong the first time but have no idea what.

Posted more for myself, now that I know about all the sequence stuff I want to use it.
