“In Between” has a quiet, pensive duo half with piano and Harpejji Half Fretless Bass and a trio half with the added energy of the Zendrum kit.

A very beautiful instrumental featuring piano, harp, and bass. It is a
rather slow, almost epic piece with a touch of melancholy. I find the
faster piano section starting at 1:48 a bit unusual — but you recapture
that "old feeling" again after just a short while.

The second part, starting around the 5:00 mark, sounds driven and
agitated. You can hear a lot of ride cymbal and some short staccato
passages. This part feels a bit disjointed and indecisive — it is held
together by the fantastically played bass.

All in all, "In Between" really does seem to fall right in the middle —
right in between, actually. The individual instruments are played
fantastically — to the ear, it sounds "live." Great job! :tu:

I really enjoyed this. Lots of unexpected transitions and evocative chord changes. Reminds me of a live performance by Return To Forever, or something from Journey To Love by Stanley Clarke. How did you put this together? Did you start with the piano, then add bass, or did you do it in sections, adding parts as you progressed? This is the type of music that drew me into jazz fusion back in the 70s. Great to hear that a few people still dig this style. Very good!
