Here's a new tool for all my techno heads. Bastion is a simple instrument that lets you design kick drums and bass synths for all your deep groove needs. Lots of presets, and and even more variation from the randomizer on the patterns and the kick/bass sounds. You can play it as an instrument OR you can dial in the sounds you like and drag-n-drop the sounds out that you like into your daw. Just drag the waveforms of the kick or bass out to your DAW to create samples. Or if you're happy with the grooves, drag out the midi from the kick track or the bass track.
