Sorry, it seems like the frame ate the timestamp linkage, but at 19:34 they talk about the per sample pitch detection they're doing to place samples chromatically for cross-modulation among other transformations/manipulations. It makes it really easy to build some cool patches using some very different kinds of samples. You can even modulate params in that sample menu.
