I just wish theyd bring out companion snare and Hat. There are a plethora of kick drum synths

Don't worry – we've made more changes.OscSync wrote: Thu Apr 23, 2026 2:14 pm Even if they just change the 1 to a 2, it's an insta buy for me.
That's why it's been delayed, unfortunately... but now, PunchBox is ... really good (at least we think that way)
Current status: almost finished with the beta test. (no big bugs discovered... and some minor tweaks) And... after this we'll make videos (audio demos, walkthroughs) and then we'll be good to go.OscSync wrote: Thu Apr 23, 2026 2:14 pm Even if they just change the 1 to a 2, it's an insta buy for me.

PB2 is more flexible than before, and just basicly via the sample pool and the layers, you can utilize it for that of course as well...VariKusBrainZ wrote: Thu Apr 23, 2026 2:45 pm I just wish theyd bring out companion snare and Hat. There are a plethora of kick drum synths
... but maybe we've had a concrete idea for exactly that for a ... since quite a while now. Who knows?

For half a year they have been saying it's just around the corner and only some little polishing is needed and made false promises. They promised release in December 2025 and now they don't even respond anymore. I love d16 plugins but this is really poor management

I have a feeling, that every time upon finishing, they are coming up with new ideas and continue implementing them. Maybe the sine-kick engine is getting advanced features in editing? Similar to the competitors. Wishful thinkings...

I’m really sorry; I guess we were - specially myself - too optimistic. And yes, it certainly wasn't my intention to make "unfulfilled promises." So.. sorry for thatSeelachsfilet wrote: Wed May 20, 2026 8:55 am For half a year they have been saying it's just around the corner and only some little polishing is needed and made false promises. It’s just more complex than V1—there’s more involved, we put way more work on things surrounding it etc etc... well so some things become a very big time-eating chunk. and other business matters have to run in parallel, too... so, unfortunately, things did get delayed.
Yes many new ideas... are maybe included.Igro wrote: Wed May 20, 2026 10:03 am I have a feeling, that every time upon finishing, they are coming up with new ideas and continue implementing them. Current PunchBox1 is basicly like PunchBox 2 with 80% Scale... but it goes to 200%dermage wrote: Thu May 21, 2026 12:32 am I'm just waiting for bigger interface, can't work with it currently on my 4k screen
Yeah we all hope, after some hard months... that we can also enjoy summer finally, maybe in some days or so.
(and really... sorry ... for being in the past year to optimistic with possible release time)

really looking forward to, but not a fan of announcing things too early and then the hype flattens.....
