I note in the iOS app, there are presets for version 2.7, 2.8 and 2.9 - what is the difference between them? Do I need to get all three?

Is there a bundle pack for ALL presets? Apart from the factory ones I mean

Thanks, yes I already have the Player 3, realised it just before your post. However that leads me to another q, on one iPad the presets list is different to the other iPad, both running SM3? I have set up quite a few favs on one iPad but when I open the open the same app on the new iPad to find those same presets, most are missing.

Further there does not seem to be a restore purchases function in SMP3 shop? I just made several for SMP1 (mistakenly thinking it was the app I was using) so now that is wasted money as I do not want to use the version 1 because 3 is soooo much better!

All g - sorted. It just took a while for the SMP3 to get to the registration page so once I completed that all the previously allocated presets are now all there. Pity about the SMP1 purchases I made, oh well they were only $8 no biggie
