Hi there fellow Linnstrumenters,
Long time lurker/learner from this forum, first time poster. I've been trying to configure a split keyboard in Reaper v7 with the Linnstrument, but haven't been successful. Ughhh, feels like I'm missing a basic solution. Reaper has a handy MIDI utility for splitting traditional keyboards by note, which doesn't help. Nor have I found a way to have multiple MIDI source channels together (1-8, 9-16) to create the Linnstrument split in Reaper.
I'd appreciate any Reaper/Linnstrument know-how to make this work.
Thanks!

You just need an effect that filters out certain midi channels. I've attached one I've written.
In Reaper, make 2 tracks, Left and Right
Set them both to receive midi from your linnstrument, all channels
Unzip the attached file and put it in both tracks
Set the Left track instance to 1 and 8
Set the Right track instance to 9 and 16
In each track, put your softsynth after the filter effect

Forgot to mention, after unzipping you have to put the file in the right directory. In Reaper's menu, choose Options, and choose Show Resource Path. Go to Effects, then go to midi. Put it there, then restart Reaper.
