Coastline new effect from Aqeel Aadam.
It combines additive resynthesis and granular synthesis to make new textures out of the input.
It consists of up to 5 "sustainers" which are captured from the input or sidechain. A threshold determines when a new sustainer is recorded.
This is then resynthesised in the Tides section. You can adjust the spectral content here in various ways and add waveshaping.
In Parallel you have the Glade processor which is essentially a granular synth with more tweakable features..
You also have a filter and a separate reverb.
One of the most striking features is the routing mode where you can cross modulate different processors with another processor or even itself. You can also separately add samples to modulate the processors.
This cross mod will work even if the level of each processor is not in the audio path.
It's rounded out with a modulation section with LFOs, step sequencer, envelopes etc.
Another fantastic release by Aqeel Aadam.

It's a very deep plugin. It might seem a bit samey at first but once you dig into it there's huge depth and variety to the kinds of sounds you can get from it.Caine123 wrote: Thu Jun 25, 2026 8:16 pm needa test it more myself, i demo'ed it a bit but somehow the tails were sounding quite similar, doesnt matter what i fed it. i put it to full wet and tested glade and tide.
It has a very flexible routing system.
For example, you can route tide and/or glade directly to the reverb while having their respective volumes at zero. Or you can use Tide to amplitude modulate glade (or vice versa)and send only glade to the reverb without hearing the dry effect.
The modulation system is really deep. You can use a modulator to change the depth of another modulator and there are tons of destinations.
It's worth sticking with, it's absolutely phenomenal.

Is it possible to lock the Input to 0 between presets. I seldom want dry signal coming through

Another lovely tool by a great Developer.
You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.

Thanks for the kind words, folks! I'm not normally on this forum but definitely open to suggestions or feedback at https://aqeelaadamsound.com/contact (https://aqeelaadamsound.com/contact)That's a great idea - you can lock the threshold when loading presets but makes a lot of sense to lock the input toosandandpaint wrote: Fri Jun 26, 2026 6:42 am Is it possible to lock the Input to 0 between presets. Looks and sounds very interesting. One question though, are there any randomization options available?
Personally, I love plugins that embrace creative exploration with dedicated dice buttons throughout the interface. Coastline seems like the perfect candidate for that. Global randomize (with adjustable intensity), Tide only, Glade only, Filter, FX Chain only etc..
Focused randomization often leads to amazing sounds that would be difficult to discover manually. For me, that's one of the things that makes modern creative plugins so addictive.
