Hi everyone,
I’ve just released a new free plugin called FAULTLINE for macOS.
It’s a creative glitch effect focused on rhythmic beat repeats, freeze effects, stutters and controlled digital chaos. I wanted something that’s quick to use and musical instead of overly complicated.
Features
• Beat Repeat / rhythmic slicing
• Freeze & stutter effects
• Glitch variations
• AU & VST3
• Native Apple Silicon + Intel (Universal)
• 100% free for personal and commercial use
I’d genuinely love to hear what producers think. Any feedback, ideas or bug reports are very welcome and will directly influence future updates.
You can download it here:

Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks for this. I like the fact that it can auto glitch, not just rely on being manually triggered.
A few things to mention:
- Window size isn't remembered after the plugin window is closed (Logic 12.2).
- A button to latch together Hit and Freeze might be useful.
- The density control is maybe scaled a little bit oddly. I'd expect a setting of 1% to cause glitching only very rarely.
- The Amount slider is ambiguously named. Maybe rename it 'Length' or 'Interval'? (Trouble is, those aren't necessarily more helpful either).
