Bearing in mind I have never used any of them:
- Alan Parsons for his sense of warmth in the Song overall
- Conny Plank for sure should be a winner for my music (assuming he didn't die already)
- Bob Clearmountain is - as his name suggests - very clear but still very song-oriented
- Colin Thurston did a fabulous job on the first Duran Duran record, no flash, just vibe, almost as strong as Bob's "Avalon".
- Trevor Horn could be a shocking showoff but still, I'd say he won way more than he lost.
- I like the way Andrew Scheps speaks, and where I have seen those "5 engineers/one song" things, his have stood out. I'd just need him to lay off the master fader as I don't need my record luffing in the gale.
- It would be interesting to hear what Beato did with my music
- It would be a laugh to watch CLA hurling himself about the board. Not sure if he'd get my not-Green Day thing but hey it might work.
