My name is Arranger Jack, and my passion for arranger keyboards has been going strong for quite some time. In my collection, you’ll find instruments from Yamaha, Roland, Korg, Casio, Medeli, and others—each with its own character, sound, and rhythms.

With every keyboard, I take on a special challenge: bringing each rhythm to life using a simple chord progression and a straightforward little melody.

On this website, I give every keyboard in my collection its own dedicated space. While I play, I create pages where you can explore and listen to the demo tracks.

You can do so for free through the YouTube player. There’s also the option to download any track you like by clicking the download button.

Yamaha PSR-E283

Pop & Rock 001 BritRock

The rhythm has a standard tempo of 118 BPM, which I used for both the rhythm demo track and the full original creation.

The OTS setting for the instrument is GrandPno, and I used that sound as well in the original creation.

I still think it’s a fun rhythm, and you can definitely make something out of it.

Song made with a rhythm out of the R&B category style from the Yamaha PSR E283.
Got to be honest, for 129€ this seems to be a very good keyboard. I got a Roland E-X10 too for around 189€ I think and its not better then the Yamaha. In regards of styles the Yamaha seems a lot better.

A song made with a Latin style from the Yamaha PSR-E283.

I know my songs are very simple, I am not that good in playing the keyboard anymore, I was pretty good as a child when I followed music school but there was a long period I did not play anymore.
Maybe that my compositions can become better in the future.
But I still like them, even if they are simple.

I named this track When We Bloom in Love.

I gave in to temptation and bought the Yamaha PSR‑SX600. Apparently it contains many styles that differ from those on the PSR‑SX700, which I already own. They all seem to be different, so it was always going to be a good purchase — especially now that it’s €100 cheaper in the Thomann clearance sale. But the main reason I bought it is that I have tens of thousands of extra styles for the PSR‑SX700, and ever since its USB port broke, I haven’t been able to load them anymore. I’m hoping I can load them on the SX600. Even if that turns out not to be possible, it’s still a solid purchase, since it comes with 415 styles and the ones I’ve seen so far are different from those on the SX700.

If the extra styles do work — and Google says they should, although some instruments may be substituted with equivalent ones because the SX600 doesn’t include every original sound (which you can still adjust to your liking) — then I might end up using only three keyboards in the future: the internal styles of the Yamaha PSR‑SX700 and the Medeli AK603, and the internal plus extra styles of the PSR‑SX600.

If that’s the case, I may not buy any more keyboards at all, since I already have tens of thousands of extra styles. But we’ll see. I expect it to arrive on Thursday or Friday.
