I know you tested this early in the thread, but just sharing my results vs. the only ones posted in here.

I am testing version 1.1.3 now on Linux on a Ryzen 3600, which is basically the same as an 8700k benchmark-wise, and I have 7 eq's in this session and I'm only in the 20%'s.

Adding an instance of IRON GLASS_ is giving me like a 2% bump at 24/48/128samples, with the regular 4x OS on.

I also saw that you also have a Ryzen 7950x, curious if that is much different than the Intel.

I expected this plugin to possibly be crippling, but so far so good!

Time to read the manual.

EDIT: I must be wrong about my %'s because adding two more and bring it up to 9 instances brought on the crackles. Will test more later.
7 instances on a 3600 sounds about right.
Thanks for the confirmation.

I read the other thread on GS and a Linux user reported that the Character knobs crackled or made noise when turning them during playback - I get that too. Not a huge deal for me, just reporting it.
REAPER + Davinci Resolve Pro on Manjaro KDE. Neve 88m. Focusrite 18i20 2nd gen. Neumann NDH30 headphones. Mics: Telefunken TF39, AT4050, Miktek C7e, EV RE-15. VSTs: u-he Hive 2, F'em, Renoise Redux, Apisonic Speedrum 2.

I sure did. But like you said, it's not a dealbreaker.

The crackling and stale manual link will be fixed soon! Thanks for trying it out on Linux
