This release brings MTC (MIDI Time Code) message generation to the Lua scripting API, a round of targeted MIDI fixes, and several stability improvements to the audio engine. Here's what's changed:

EDIT: Looks very promising - great price too! I might wait until an installer version is released though, I'm not one much for compiling and "making" myself.

TBH, the Atlas OS Windows 11 system is really sorts turning me back to W11...been running it for a week now and it is small, very zippy and simply runs everything. That being said, I still have a fondness for returning to Linux full time...this app you linked MIGHT just be the catalyst!

This was one of the apps I recommended to you a long time ago, along with Carla as part of a modular live setup rig on Linux. Using Pipewire for inter-app routing, and RaySession for session management, and qpwgraph for connecting, you can set up a pretty sweet and convenient live rig--just like GigPerformer, Camelot, or Cantibile. The only difference is that it is modular.

Imagine: You could load a couple if instances of Carla into Element, and switch between racks very quickly. You can have two instances of Element, each with two instances of Carla, with VSTs racked up and swappable. You can be playing with two racks, while loading the preset of another two racks. All while sync'ing with an audio file player, or a looper, or whatever else you want.

You may have forgotten, but I didn't. This is what I was wanting to suggest to you. If you have a couple of monitors attached, you can even be seeing one set of racks on one screen, while loading another set of racks on another screen. You could completely play one with no hesitancy or dropouts, while loading another set.

I don't understand, why the thread with lists?
KvrAudio used to have a product database with hosts, plugins, etc which could be queried, and the OS was one of the important selection criteria.

Still exists.

Problem - let's say Toneboosters releases Linux versions of their plugins (they did, just an example). Those plugins, because they are already in the database, appear on like page 40.

Only new to the database plugins appear at the start of the database.

Hence, "lists" to actually inform and aid discovery.

Using the "toggle options" will yield your results: Linux instruments & effects, sorted by user rating.

Gawd, it's been over a decade ago I used that part of KvrAudio. The "quick" search presets are very bland indeed.
